The Griffith Family Trio have now added bluegrass to their genre! Doug has taken up the banjo,Faye is
playing acoustic guitar,and little Miss Sarah has taken up the mandolin. When you attend one of their
concerts, you will not only hear one of your favorite Griffith Trio tunes,but you'll also be blessed to hear some of the old time gospel favorites played to the tune of a banjo,mandolin and guitar.
The Griffith Family Trio has now updated the schedule,you can now click on to see if they are going to be in an area close to you.
On October 23rd around 7:30 P.M while the trio was performing,Doug stopped what he was doing and ask the church to start praying,at that time he was asked if he wanted them to call for help,his reply was,keep on praying.When Paramedic's arrived on the scene Doug's chest pain had worsened,he was than rushed to St.Lutherens Hospital in Ft. Wayne Indiana, where the crew acted promptly in doing what they do best. He had an 85% blockage and a 100% blockage two stents had to be placed.(Because of God,and the fast reaction of the paramedics,Doctors,and the staff on hand and everyone at the church that was involved there was minimal damage.Doug is expected to make a full recovery at home and is resting comfortably.They will be off the road for 4 week's.

On The Road Again!!
After making a full recovery at home,The Griffith Family Trio are back on the road again. What was supposed to have been a four week rest wound up being four months. Doug gives all praise to God,and say's that God is in control of the situation.( They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength mount up with wings as eagles,walk and faint not,run and not be weary.) Their first outing was Feb.27th at the Elkhart Community Baptist Church, in Elkhart,In, they had a wonderful time,and have been going every since. Continue to pray for the family as they travel.

Doug ask that everyone be in prayer for his baby Bro. Bobby,he is going in for back surgery around June 17th. Bob and wife Iva Griffith used to travel with the Griffith Family. Although they are missed God is still using them in another way.Keep on Keeping on Bob,it's just another obstacle!!!But always remember God is BIGGER! Love you guy's.
The Griffith Trio ask that you remember Faye in your prayers she goes in to see the Doctor for surgery to remove her gallbladder June 8th. Keep her in your prayers.We are believeing and trusting God.
